Legacy of Excellence

Established in 2004 as storage service provider to NCDEX for the stocks traded at the platform of NCDEX, we are today leading providers of storage servicesto all stakeholders in the post-harvest supply chain of Agricultural Commodities including Government Agencies. Our warehouses strictly adhere to scientific norms, and are accredited by Warehousing Development and Regulatory Authority (WDRA) and National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange (NCDEX) for accepting physical deliveries of commodities traded in the commodity future market.

Warehouse Receipts (WHRs) issued against commodities deposited in our warehouses are treated at par with the receipts of CWC/SWC, and are accepted by various Banks for funding. Banks lend against our WHRs on the strength of our scientific storage and preservation practices.

In the year 2011 NCML with an outlay of more than Rs.300 crore, decided to build its own Ultra-modern scientific warehouses (Conventional Dry, Cold and Silo Storage structures) at around 40 locations,spread across the length and breadth of the country, with an installed capacity of approx. 7 lakh metric tons. These storage structures are linked through web enabled IT platform for ensuring real time streaming of information to its customers/ depositors.

Importance of Warehousing

  • Scientific storage: The produce is protected against quantitative and qualitative losses by the use of such methods of preservation as are necessary.
  • Financing: Warehouses meet the financial needs of the person who stores the produce. Nationalized banks advance credit on the security of the warehouse receipt issued for the stored products to the extent of 75 to 80% of their value.
  • Price Stabilization: Warehouses help in price stabilization of agricultural commodities by checking the tendency of distress sales by the farmers.
  • Market Intelligence: Warehouses also offer the facility of market information to persons who hold their produce in them.

Terms & Conditions

Terms & Conditions

  • The terms and condition for disposal of perishable or deteriorating goods, delivery requirements, liability as well as storage terms and conditions will be as per the terms and conditions specified under the State Warehousing Act, Rules where applicable and other applicable laws.
  • The storage charges for a particular commodity and storage location will be as notified by the Company from time to time.
  • It shall be the responsibility of the depositors that he fulfils the statutory requirements of Central, State, local administration; both for holding of stock as well as to ensure the quality of stocks as per FSSAI and other regulations.
  • In respect of NCDEX deposits, the instruction issued by NCDEX from time to time shall also be applicable.
